Haven’t heard of us? There’s good reason. We didn’t exist until this year, and in fact our first official event is the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce Business 2 Business Expo (April 29th, 2010). MITN – GF is primarily a networking group for individuals working with or interested in technology.

What does MITN – Greater Flint do?

We plan monthly events to keep individuals in the Greater Flint Area informed and communicating with each other. At each session we allow time to network and also learn something new about technology, preferably technology that exists in the Greater Flint Area.

In October we hold an annual meeting for our membership to stay informed and have an opportunity to elect officials to the board.

We send out email newsletters addressing technology related topics, and tell of upcoming events and opportunities.
MITN – GF also acts as an advocate to educate the public of the need for technology in the region and showcase the technology we currently utilize in the area.

MITN – Greater Flint is one of 4 founding members of Michigan Technology Network. Michigan Technology Network is a statewide organization focusing on Networking, Education and Community. MITN membership consists of MITN – Greater Flint, MITN – Lansing, MITN – Blue Water, and MITN – Livingston.
